What are most excited about? What are your goals/hopes for your Senior year? What do you want to make sure you accomplish during your last year at ICS? How do you want your Senior year to be defined?
I’ve been thinking about this exciting yet terrifying school year all summer. What’s it like to be a senior, the oldest and most respected among the younger generations of our school. On the other hand, just thinking about leaving ICS makes me feel extremely sad that I’ll be leaving the place that I consider my second home. I’ve been here for 14 years and have not regret a single day. Also, when going into the new chapter of my life, I know there’ll be numerous responsibilities and important decisions that will condescend on me.
On the first day of school, it felt kind of weird being the eldest, since during my years in school and up until my junior year, I’ve always had someone to look up to, someone to comfort me. Now being the oldest, it makes me believe I have to be more responsible and reliable. More importantly, I must make the most out of every moment.
My plans for my senior year, is to spend time with my friends so I can keep those unforgettable memories as I move on to college. I’ll also go to all of the ICS events, such as LAF and spirit night, because I know it’ll be unlikely that I’ll get to enjoy these fancies once I go to college. Moreover, I plan on having the best senior trip, since it’ll be our last. Still, I will end this year with the best GPA I’ve ever aimed for.
In conclusion, it’ll be quite sad when graduation comes because I’ll be saying “farewell” to the people who have shaped my life and made me who I am. Still, I know that time flies and my 14-year journey at ICS will come to an end. Still, I shall make the most out of my senior year and close my last section of the chapter will a big smile.
