Last Night You Left Me And Slept (Part 1)
The poem “Last Night You Left Me”, showcases the scene of how his lover hurt him in the worst way possible. The poem basically says that last night his lover left him and slept on her own. But tonight, when she turned back to him, he wanted to be with her forever. Lastly, he describes her mumbling things when she was drunk, things that he could not understand.

Explaination
My poem describes how Rumi felt when his lover left him. He didn’t know what he has done wrong, so he was pondering about it, not eating and drinking. All he is thinking about is the return of his love.
